Reviews
A superb collection of The most beautiful handcrafted Mexican art pieces. A vast variety from all the different cultures and regions in huge Mexico. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for genuine Mexican crafts (or clothing). Coolest thing is this store is a non profit setup to help the indigenous Mexican artists get as much $$$ possible for their crafts (but worry not, prices are pretty reasonable)
It feels like an anthropology museum, full of artifacts and objects from Mexico. It is a great visit, but the prices are quite blowout, in my opinion.
If you can, it'd be cheaper and a richer experience to buy directly from the communities
Best place to buy real Mexican handicrafts and support the artists. Really recommended
This store has beautiful local artwork and a great selection of decorative pieces, in addition to authentic kitchenware. There is a section for every taste, and you can also find an abundance of fine items, for personal use or special gifts.
This is the largest of the three locations of FONART in Mexico City. Inside, you will find many varieties of artisan made items, all identified with the name and location of their creator. While it is not inexpensive, the quality is unmatched. I highly recommend a visit, even if it’s just to browse the beautiful pieces!
Best place to buy traditional art from all over México
Gear artesana from all mexico , worth a visit
Very good Mexican handicrafts store. This one is the biggest of all their chains. Almost include all kind of souvenirs that you can find when you travel around Mexico. The price could be little bit higher than those in the market. But the quality is good and you can pay with credit card.
Excellent choice of artisan gifts at reasonable prices
Great place ro buy local handcrafts
